Is this a franchise
Not at the start. This is the Founding Partner Pilot phase, designed to prove and refine the model with a small number of serious operators before wider franchise rollout. After the initial 3-month pilot period, if both parties agree the partnership is working well and the agreed performance standards are being met, you will be offered the opportunity to convert to a full 5-year franchise for your area. As a Founding Partner, your franchise upgrade fee is a pilot-only rate of £1,250 + VAT. If the agreed performance standards have not yet been met by month 3, the pilot may continue (subject to review) for up to a further 3 months under the pilot terms, with support focused on helping you reach the milestones. If the agreed performance standards are still not met by month 6, the pilot agreement may end and the territory may be released. Performance is assessed against agreed activity, pipeline, and client acquisition milestones set out in your pilot agreement.
Is this passive?
No. This is an active sales and outreach role. HQ supplies systems, training and leads intelligence; franchisees must perform outreach, calls and local networking.
Do I need sales experience?
You don’t need pro sales experience, but you must be comfortable speaking to business owners and following scripts. We filter for people who will do calls and follow a weekly routine.
What is included in training?
Training covers Merlin reports, outreach scripts, onboarding clients, the delivery scope HQ handles, reporting and compliance. Training is required before trading.
What does HQ do vs partner pilot?
Partner Pilot: local outreach, discovery, sales and account growth. HQ: Merlin opportunity engine, onboarding, systems, product delivery within defined scope, reporting and backend support.
How is exclusivity granted?
Pilot partners receive provisional territory protection during the pilot period, subject to active participation, payment status, and milestone compliance. Full exclusivity is granted only once the full franchise agreement is signed and all conditions are met.
What markets are available?
Available territories are selected for the Stage 1 Pilot. Applicants name preferred territories on the form; HQ confirms availability during the discovery process.
What support do I get?
Onboarding, playbooks, Merlin access, monthly check-ins and HQ-managed delivery for client packages as per defined scope.
Can I run this part-time?
Yes, if you can commit to a consistent weekly outreach routine and follow the system.
How many partners are you taking on?
We’re keeping the pilot limited so we can support partners properly and gather quality proof.
Are earnings guaranteed?
No. Results vary based on activity, conversion rates, retention, and local market conditions. We provide the tools and support, but execution matters.
